Saturday: one more March contra dance!
Saturday, March 30th: the third Montpelier Contra Dance of the month! Please join us for another great dance, with calling by Will Mentor, locally and nationally known for his great teaching, good humor and clear calling. Music will be by the Ice Cream Truckers, which feature Noah VanNorstrand on fiddle, mandolin and foot percussion, Kelsey Wells on banjo and fiddle, and Yann Falquet on guitar.
Will Mentor will teach an instruction/refresher session starting about 7:40, so aim to get to the Capital City Grange Hall about 7:30 to change your shoes, or clean them really well to protect our beautiful dance floor. The Grange Hall is located at 6612 VT 12, Berlin VT 05602, about 1 mile south of Montpelier. We'll have dancing from 8:00 to 11:00 PM, with a brief break midway through.
Admission: choose the price that matches you--$12 for regular adult-type people, $5 for kids or low-income people, or $20 if you want to help us pay the band, caller and sound really well!
