Vermont Arts Exchange 's Basement Music Series !Join us Saturday, March 30th at Little City Cider for a beach themed night of dance, activities and the debut concert by "VELVET WAVE"! Doors open at 6:00 and show at 7:00pm. Dive into the timeless sounds of your favorite instrumental surf rock classics as they deliver an electrifying performance that'll have you dancing on the warm sands of nostalgia.
Some of the best local talent makes up VELVET WAVE! Taking the stage features Sam Clement on guitar, Dave Lawlor-guitar, Carling Berkhout-guitar, Grady King-bass and Darryl Kniffen on drums.
Minor moons, a liquid light artist, will set the mood onstage creating a large-scale liquid lights show. Minor Moons will be working in traditional inks and dyes, paired with modern projectors.
Beach attire is encouraged so pull out your Hawaiian shirts & skirts, bathing suits or summer dresses and sandals. Take in some of the Boardwalk themed activity like finding out what life has in store for you with a Tarot card reading by "Demi Lune". Treat yourself up to some body bling like glitter tattoos, hair feathers and mini makeover.
