Designing for Space

If you had to design a spacecraft to go in orbit, a rover for Mars, or a lander for Venus, how would you do it? In this fun talk from aerospace engineer Deb Sigel, who worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, learn how engineers design things to survive the harsh conditions of space, and the fun destructive testing done to make sure it will.
