NATURAL RESOURCES INVENTORY

SAT. APRIL 6 @ 2:00pm @ the Hardwick Memorial Bldg.

The Hardwick Conservation Commission contracted with experienced Consulting Ecologist Matt Peters of Woodbury to conduct a Natural Resources Inventory for Hardwick in January 2023.

This NRI, called for in our Town Plan, compiles data about soils, wetlands, critical wildlife habitats, natural plant communities, wildlife corridors, forestlands, etc. within the Town.

This will be a foundational document to help the Town plan wisely for development and protect its natural resources.

The HCC thanks the many willing landowners whose permission allowed Peters to gather information. As well, the HCC thanks the Hardwick Selectboard for ARPA funding for this project.
