Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow
a thousand times
Come, yet again, come, come.
- Rumi
Zikr is a meditative practice and can take many forms from breathing, to walking, to how we interact with others - it is a matter of intention. This community practice is offered from the Sufi tradition and is a practice of remembering our connection to the Divine through music and song. We will sing songs mostly from the catalog of Pir Shabda Khan with harmonium and guitar accompaniment. This is an interfaith community offering sponsored by East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church and open to people of all ages and spiritual traditions.
