We are looking for volunteers to help sort 35,000 pounds of food being donated to 12 local food shelves in Lamoille County and a few surrounding pantries, we could use your helping hands.
In an effort to support local communities, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will deliver a donation of 30-35,000 pounds of food to Johnson, Vermont at 9AM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The shipment consists of dry, and canned food items.
We need volunteers from 9am to 1pm to sort this food for the pantries involved, and help pantries load their vehicles.
Light food/snacks/drinks for volunteers will be available.
We are very grateful to Johnson Farm & Garden for donating the Skid Steer & Forklift Jacks to make this all possible, Morrisville's Tractor Supply for sorting pallets, and our community members who are volunteering to get everything sorted as quickly as possible.
