Join us to celebrate Poetry Month on Friday, April 12th at the library. We are offering a couple of informal workshops leading up to an open mike style sharing of poems. Writer and library volunteer Megan Randall will help you workshop your own poems, and artist and library director Emily Gold will guide participants on how collage and poetry can work together. At 6:30, we will gather for a reading of poetry. Read your newly polished poems, show off your poetry collages, and share your favorite poems from authors known and unknown. All ages are welcome. There will be light refreshments available.
