Hi there neighbors,

Please join our NNE community at the monthly NNE Community Dinner and NPA meeting, 4th Wednesday of the month, which is this upcoming Wednesday, 3/27/24 starting with the dinner at 6pm at The Miller Center on Gosse ct. The NPA meeting then starts at 6:30pm and goes until 8pm.

The dinner this month is provided by People's kitchen and the menu consists of
Appetizers: chicken samosas, shrimp egg rolls, and fried vegetable dumplings
Fragrant Yellow Rice - basmati rice cooked in coconut milk and herbs (V & GF)
Vegan Chowder - root veggies, corn, and jackfruits in spiced coconut broth (V & GF)
Grilled Satays entree - skewers of grilled marinated chicken thighs, beef tenderloin, or veggie medley with choice of peanut sauce or sweet spicy lime tamari sauce (GF)
Sweet plantains - deep-fried battered plantains with a side of vanilla ice cream and/or a drizzle of maple syrup (GF)

The agenda and zoom link are forthcoming, but a draft of the NNE NPA Bylaws will be presented and discussed (our current Bylaws are from 2007), and we will also be hearing from a few of our state legislators.
