Sterling College will again be putting on our Community Dinner this Friday night, starting at 4:30pm. This meal is prepared and served by the students in the Local Sustainable Food Systems class. This dinner is free and open to everyone in the great Craftsbury community. We will have a donation box for Sterling Student Scholarships, and these funds will go directly to offering financial aid for current and incoming students. We will also have a donation box for clothing and household items.
The menu this week is:
Birria style ribs featuring beef from New Grass Farmstand, a small family farm in Wolcott headed by our very own garden manager Gwyneth Harris and her husband Neil. We'll serve the ribs with grilled tortillas, Mexican rice, roasted street corn salad, a cabbage slaw, and all of the fixings. Dessert is Tres Leches cake - and, as always, ice cream.
All diets are accommodated, and we hope to see you there!
