This class will teach the basics of drafting, spinning and plying fiber into yarn. This class will also go into how to select fiber as a beginning spinner and introduce concepts around fiber preparation. Participants are welcome to bring their own drop spindle and fiber or purchase the necessary materials (4oz of fiber and a drop spindle) from the instructor. Please register at least 24 hours in advance by either emailing heronsllyn@gmail.com or texting (970)-471-4691, the sooner the better! The class fee and spinning package cost (if you need it) is collected the day of the class. Appropriate for ages 8+.
