The Shoreham Elementary School fifth graders are heading to the Keywaydin Environmental Education Center (KEEC) in May. This week-long, immersive educational experience is a phenomenal opportunity for the students, but comes with a price tag, and the kids are busy fundraising to ensure every student is able to attend.
Please bring your redeemable bottles and cans to trash and recycling pickup during the following four Saturdays: March 23, March 30, April 6, and April 13. Fifth graders will be on hand between 8 a.m. and noon to help with trash and collect bottles. We'll also be selling baked goods each Saturday morning (until they run out!) as part of the fundraiser.
If you're interested in making a donation to help send the fifth graders to KEEC, please send a check payable to "Shoreham Activities" to the school, with a note indicating that the funds should be designated to KEEC. Checks can be mailed to Shoreham Elementary School, attn: Irene Cadoret, 130 School Rd., Shoreham, VT 05770. We're grateful for the support in making this educational experience a possibility for all Shoreham fifth graders.
