The Johnson Historical Society will host an Open House in the Carriage Room of the Holcomb House, 188 Main Street East, Johnson on March 24th from 1 to 3 pm.
The Carriage Room was formerly the home's garage and has been used for storage until recently. Members have been organizing the space to show-off many items from their extensive collection. There are harnesses, a calligraphy machine, an abundance of vintage rakes and other farm implements, interesting signage, items from the Village Electric Department, and so much more. There is a lot to see in the Carriage Room as well as on the main floor of the Holcomb House. All are welcome. It is free.
