Everyone's invited to a FREE community dinner / iftar meal as part of the Ward 5 Neighborhood Planning Assembly monthly meeting this Thursday, 3/21 starting at 6:30, DPW Building on Pine St.

The menu will feature dishes frequently served as part of iftar (breaking of the daylong fast during the islamic month of Ramadan) in various parts of the world, prepared by families in Ward 5's own South Meadow neighborhood and served by volunteers from the People's Kitchen:

- Deep fried banana fritters and veggie samosas (Vegan)
- Vegetable rice biryani (GF, Vegan)
- Chicken+potatoes (GF) or shroom+tempeh curry (GF, Vegan)
- Grilled lamb satays (GF)
- Cucumber and shallots raita (GF)

All food 100% halal and tasty.
