I have been an MRI Tech at Central Vermont Medical Center for 15 years. Last summer, we formed a union at CVMC to improve our working conditions and the quality of care we provide to our community.

Since then, we have been working hard to bargain a contract that makes CVMC a better place for employees and patients. We are pushing for:

- Safer staffing
- Robust training programs in each department
- Measures to retain experienced staff

We can't keep losing nurses and techs due to lack of support about burnout. Unfortunately, the administration is moving slowly and returning proposals that make conditions worse, not better.

We are asking our community to help us put pressure on the administration by coming to our Rally for a Fair Contract & Quality Patient Care – this Saturday, March 23rd (12-1pm at City Hall Park in Barre). Make sure to WEAR RED!
