Surely you know by now that on Monday, April 8, between 2:15 and 3:30 the moon is going to gradually block the sun leading to total darkness for three to four minutes. We are right in the path for the first time since 1932. For most of us this is a once in a lifetime event. If you want to watch it safely with friends, you are invited to the Worcester Historical Society where we can watch it together as a community. We have received 100 pairs of special glasses to view the event safely. There will be no formal program or cost. School will be dismissed at noon on that day and we will set up some chairs or you can bring your own. Light refreshment will be provided as well compliments of WHS. If the weather is overcast (how could that happen?) the event will be cancelled.
