Career Empowerment Day is coming up this Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the O'Brien Community Center (32 Malletts Bay Ave) in Winooski. We will provide light drinks and snacks. Drop in for an hour or stay the entire event; we have lots to share with you! Interested community members are invited join us for:
•Free professional clothing: Pick up a new work outfit (or two!)
•Skill development: Resume review, interview preparation, support understanding income taxes, benefit navigation, advice on budgeting with a new wage, and other career navigation resources.
•Community resources: Upcoming Job-Fairs, information from providers who are ready to support you on your career journey.
