Spnsored by the Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP) and the Windham World Affairs Council (WWAC), this lecture entitled "Migration From the Northern Triangle: They Are Here Because We Were There" will be held at 118 Elliot in Brattleboro at 6:30 PM on Thursday March 21st. The lecturer, Dr. Sarah Osten, is a UVM Associate Professor of Latin American History.
Honduran food, including empanadas and chocoflan, will be available, provided by CASP clients from Central America. Although there is a $10 suggested donation, this is a free public event and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. More information can be found on the website of the Windam World Affairs Council.
I'm planning to attend, leaving Bellows Falls at approximately 5:45. I'd be delighted to carpool and I can offer rides to a few people. Please phone or text me at 802-275-4646 if you're interested.
Thanks,
Steve Crofter
