The Total Solar Eclipse is almost here! Come gather with your fellow Northfielders to watch the eclipse in 2 awesome locations on April 8th:

1) Memorial Park: Come celebrate and view the eclipse at Memorial Park from 1-4 pm. We will have crafts for kids, a live DJ (thank you, Dex Rowe!), and food available from Good Measure's food truck. The partial eclipse begins at 2:14 and totality will last 33 seconds beginning at 3:26.

2) Want to get further out into nature to view the eclipse? Join the Conservation Commission/Town Forest Stewardship Committee for an eclipse viewing event at Cheney Meadow beginning at 1:30 pm. Park where parking is allowed in the neighborhoods below the forest and follow signs for the Upper Meadow.

Need a pair of eclipse glasses? They are now available at the Brown Public Library! Northfield residents are able to pick up 2 pairs/household while supplies last. We will also have glasses available on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the eclipse.
