The Lamoille Union annual One Act play will be performed on Thursday, March 28th at 7 pm.
Tickets will be available at the door of the Lamoille Union Auditorium for $8.
This year's play, "It's All An Act", is actually three delightful comedy scenes about life in the theater.

In "Must The Show Go On?" everything goes wrong on opening night. The four actors persevere despite a drunk in the tech booth, a "costume failure," a prop gun that doesn't fire and a sneezing corpse! Actors are Sue Draper, Khalil Bridgman, Alyssa Vandermolen and Adrian Willis.

In "Final Curtain" an old actor on his deathbed keeps eloquently delivering lines of Shakespeare as his adult children argue in front of him. He ultimately proves "All's well that ends well." Students playing those roles are Arlo Bickford, Lydia Sylvester, Felix Crawford, Taylor Merchant and Kat Gouvin.

In "Can't You See We're Acting?" four older people create havoc from their front-row seats as they unwrap pieces of hard candy, snore, and make loud comments in the midst of a dramatic play. Will the distraught actor's offer of a ticket refund help save the show? The cast is Charlie Leaker, Quincy Cayton, Maybel Leaker, Eli Schaaf, Leo Huschke-Martell, and Kat Gouvin.

Sound and lights are operated by Drew Theoni. Director Jack VonBehren is proud of the hard work the cast have put into this show. VonBehren said "Some feel that comedy is easy. . . but, to be good, comedy takes a huge amount of attention to timing and nuances of delivery. This cast has risen to the challenge."

The Lamoille Union One Act play will be headed to BFA Saint Albans on Saturday, March 30th to participate in the regional Drama Festival, along with BFA Fairfax, Milton, Long Trail, and Saint Albans.
