Come sing with us!

In preparation for the upcoming solar eclipse, we will learn and sing hymns to the sun, mostly from Lithuania. Sutartines are an incredibly beautiful tradition of group singing which are deeply rooted in the seasonal cycles of the natural world, and infused with imagery of nature and ancient gods. The songs are simple and repetitive, and we will learn easy circle dances to accompany them. All welcome. No fee, donations appreciated.

On the day of the eclipse, participants are welcome and encouraged to join in an eclipse ritual and participatory performance on the Bread and Puppet fields on Monday April 8th
