Hi neighbors,

Ramadan kareem and happy almost-spring. The Ward 5 NPA will meet on Thursday, March 21st on zoom and at 645 Pine Street.

The People's Kitchen will provide a community iftar (meal) for those fasting and not. Join us as early as 6:30 to begin eating and hanging out with neighbors!

We'll begin the meeting at 7pm with public forum; then hear about community programs to address the drug crisis, including overdose prevention centers; get an update on school budget funding; and have a discussion with Councilor Grant and neighbors who live in Decker Towers.

We will also have a brief moment to discuss next month's NPA Steering Committee election, which will take place at our meeting on April 18. And, thanks to the City, we will have eclipse glasses, educational materials, and a model of the solar system set up in preparation for April 8th's eclipse.

We hope to see you on Thursday in person or online, and don't hesitate to write with any questions beforehand.
