Join the Walden Community Library on April 8th to witness and learn about the total solar eclipse! Totality will occur for a few minutes starting at 3:28, but the library will be open for learning activities, a backyard bonfire, and treats around the fire for the partial eclipse phases before and after as well. Eclipse glasses will be available for you to use, and we will have other simple tools available to safely view and experience phenomena surrounding the eclipse. New eclipse and astronomy books will be available to peruse or borrow.
Vermont saw its last total solar eclipse in 1932 and won't see another until 2106. Join us to celebrate and learn about this once-in-a-lifetime celestial event!
