"1800 and Froze to Death: the Cold Year of 1816"

Come listen to noted Vermont Historian Howard Coffin describe the "Cold Year of 1816," a year when summer never came. There were frosts every month, strange dark skies, and mysterious lights. You will hear many anecdotes about failed crops, scarce food, and religious revivals. Don't miss this look at a bizarre year in our weather history. It's sure to be fascinating!
