Celebrate (Hard) Cider 2014

ECHO is hosting the largest gathering of hard cider makers in Vermont's history on Thursday, October 9, 6:30 to 9 p.m. as part of ECHO's AfterDark programming for grown ups.

Sixteen cider houses are supply over 40 varieties of cider for the tasting and many of the producer will be on hand to discuss their special varieties and the nuances of their production. Guests receive 12 tasting tickets, a commemorative glass as well as delicious snacks provided by Sugarsnap.

Cider makers include: Boyden Valley, Champlain Orchards, Citizen Cider, Downeast Cider House, Eden Ice Cider, Farnum Hill, Flag Hill Farm, Hall Home Place, J.K.’s Scrumpy, Original Sin, Samuel Smith’s, Shacksbury Cider, Stowe Cider, Whetstone Ciderworks, Windfall Orchards, and Woodchuck Cider.
