This 8-week course will focus on ceramics pouring vessels, using a variety of methods including both handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques. Instruction will cover both skill sets, allowing students to work in whatever way suits them. Creamers, ewers, pitchers, coffee pots, and teapots will be explored. offering a chance to dive into the variety of considerations that come with pots that pour, including balance, ergonomics, specialized function, and how these pieces fit into the small (or grand!) rituals of our daily lives.

Classes are held in the fully outfitted ceramics studio of the Marlboro Studio School on the beautiful Potash Hill campus.
