Join us at the Charlotte-Shelburne-Hinesburg Rotary Club at 7:30am on Wednesday morning to learn more about Lake Champlain Chocolates as a company.
Lake Champlain Chocolates became a certified B Corporation in 2018. March is B Corp Month. Allyson Myers will be sharing a bit about Lake Champlain Chocolates impact in the local and global community. Born from a dare to do better, Lake Champlain Chocolates is driven by their passion to change the world one chocolate at a time.
Allyson Myers is a life long Vermonter, joined Lake Champlain Chocolates in 1993 and lived in Shelburne since 1995 (aside from a handful of years when she moved all the way to North Ferrisburgh). Today, she's the Director of Marketing & Customer Experience, involved with the marketing, eCommerce, and product development efforts. In her spare time, she currently serves on the Shelburne Development Review Board, is a Corporator for Northfield Savings Bank, tutors English through the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and plays clarinet with the Hinesburg Community Band. She also is past President of the VT/NH Marketing Group and Treasurer of the Charlotte Children's Center.
We'll be meeting in person at the Shelburne United Methodist Church on 30 Church St in the center of Shelburne. A Zoom option is also available for people who would like to join remotely. Breakfast starts at 7:00am, with the meeting starting at 7:30am and finishing by 8:30am.
