Zon Eastes and Juno Orchestra performing Camille Saint-Saëns' "The Carnival of the Animals" in a 2 p.m. matinee concert Thursday, March 14.
The matinee will be held at the Latchis Theatre in downtown Brattleboro. Donations are welcome and will benefit the Brattleboro Music Center's Music School scholarship program.
"The Carnival of the Animals" is a suite of 14 short, humorous animal-themed movements. The music at the March 14 concert will be complemented by the poetry of Jack Prelutsky, America's first Children's Poet Laureate, and illustrations by Mary GrandPré.
