Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pierson Library in Shelburne, a group of us will write for 20 minutes, share if we feel like it and talk about writing.

I'll be the guide.

I'll talk a bit about writing, offer you several prompts to write to -- or write about whatever you'd like -- I'll read you a few short passages to get your writing heads on, and off you go for 20 minutes. Pen, laptop, no matter.

We encourage those who wish to share and we offer feedback guided by one word: respect. And we encourage those who do not wish to share to feel no guilt.
