The Middlebury College Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is presenting a speaker series "Forests for Climate, Forests for Life". This is a three part series exploring the critical role of forests in supporting the climate, biodiversity, and human health.
The second presentation is on March 12 at 6:00 pm. The topic is "MATURE AND OLD GROWTH FORESTS ARE OUR BEST TERRESTRIAL NATURAL CLIMATE SOLUTION", presented by Dr. Dominick A. Dellasala, Chief Scientist, Wild Heritage, Project of Earth Island Institute
The location is the Franklin Environmental Center at Middlebury College, Room 103, 531 College St., Middlebury. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. No registration is required.
