One of the best things you can do to support both pollinators and the productivity of your gardens is to include pollinators-friendly plantings in your flower and vegetable gardens. Charlotte Library's Seed Library program invites you to join local pollinator enthusiast and leader of the Pollinator Pathways project in Charlotte, Julie Parker-Dickerson for an informative program on who is pollinating what and why native pollinators are so important. She will illustrate simple ways to create or enhance pollinator habitat, especially with annual and perennial plants that bloom from early spring into late fall, attracting to your flower and vegetable gardens throughout the growing season. Time for discussion and your own pollinator stories.
