Join me this Spring in developing a Moon Practice to help with clarifications of intentions, navigation of barriers, and attainment of dreams. Balance in our lives is not equality of time. It is the ability to attend fully to the varying aspects of life as they arise - envision a juggler versus a balanced scale. A Moon Practice can help with this challenge.

Planets without moons have a distinct wobble, called a precession, causing tumultuous weather patterns. Experiencing periods when the currents of stress create a wild stormy ride is like a world without a moon. The gravitational relationship between Moon and Earth creates a stable climate. A Moon Practice helps us find the lee side of the storm so that we can ride it out with an even keel.

This gravitational phenomenon shows itself in the tides of the waters of earth too. The moon pulls the water towards the moon, drawing the water away form the opposite side of the world. Working with this energy in motion we can work with the darkness of the new moon, retreating to contemplate, be with, and evaluate the issues at hand. As the water rises and the moon brightens the messages heard during the period of darkness become clearer and can be released or rejoiced.
