So, I'm a relative newcomer to this area , and in meeting various neighbors, I have been struck by the depth of interests, talents and history that are around me. I would love to know more! So I thought of the salons of the Enlightenment as a model (see below for definition) and set out to host such an event. We've been meeting Mondays since November with a rotating cast of characters and it's been a lovely experience! If you are interested in attending, they are on the second Monday of the month (this Monday, Mar11 will be the next one).
