On Wednesday, March 20th, Craftsbury's Planning Commission and the Conservation Commission are hosting a Community Values Mapping workshop.
What is a Community Values Mapping workshop?
It is an opportunity for Craftsbury residents to come together and tell us what is special about Craftsbury.
Tell us about your favorite places:
-Where do you like to recreate? (ex. Ski, walk, bike, snowmobile)?
-Where do you like to hunt or fish?
-Do you have a special natural area or habitat where you love to view nature?
-Do you have a favorite view from your land or a back road?
-Is there an Historic area or building that you really like?
-What is your favorite area to gather with friends? (ex: The Village, the Common, the block party, the libraries)?
-Are there special working lands that are important to you? (ex. Farms, forests)
With this workshop we will work together to identify these areas on an actual large map of Craftsbury.
The workshop is designed to be a fun way to gather information about the positive things in Craftsbury. This will allow our new Town Plan to better depict the lay of the land that makes our community unique.
Mark your calendars: The Community Values Mapping workshop will start with refreshments and pizza at 5:45 in the Town Hall.
The workshop itself will start promptly at 6:15, and end at 8:00.
Please join us and share what you love about Craftsbury!
