Free Guardianship Workshop - Via Zoom

Past event
Mar 12, 2024, 5:30 to 6:30 PM

Greetings:

I will present a workshop on Adult Guardianship via Zoom on March 12th. The need for adult guardianship may apply to young or senior individuals, including people with developmental disabilities, mental health issues, or dementia. This free workshop is part of the Slate Valley Unified School District series for parents of disabled children entering adulthood. However, if you have a friend or loved one with diminishing mental capacity or dementia, for example, I think you will find this information just as helpful.

I also talk about guardianship at the estate planning course I teach at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center. I hope to teach the course again in the fall.

Our office has assisted family members with guardianship matters for individuals who are 3 years old to more than 100 years of age. I also have an adult daughter with moderate to severe autism who is under guardianship.

Here is information on the workshop next week. It is free but advance registration is required. Please feel free to share this information with others.
