The Norwich University Writers Series welcomes Vermont author Ann Davila Cardinal, Wednesday, March 27, at 4:00 p.m., Chaplin Hall Gallery, Upper Parade Ground, Norwich campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Ann Dávila Cardinal is a Nuyorican fiction writer who earned her B.A. from Vermont College of Norwich University (class of 2000), an M.A from Union Institute & University, and an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her young adult novels include Five Midnights, Category Five, and 2023's Breakup from Hell, a horror romcom based in Stowe, Vermont. Her middle grade debut, the first biography of Latin trap artist Bad Bunny, comes out September 3, 2024. The Storyteller's Death, her first novel for adults, released in October 2022, was her creative thesis at VCFA, and won gold in the International Latino Book Awards in October of 2023. Her next adult novel, We Need No Wings, will be released on September 10, 2024. Ann lives in Morrisville with her husband, and she loves to cycle on the rail trail, erg, and pet all the dogs.
