The Woodbury Community Library invites you to the Opening of An exhibit of four artists connected by familial ties and art.

We welcome long time Woodbury resident and artist, Patricia de Gogorza Gahagan who will share a sample of her work along with the work from her parents, Maitland de Gogorza and  Julia Brodt , and husband James Gahagan. This is an exhibit that will let the audience appreciate some of the artists that influenced and inspired her artistic process and appreciation of art. Pat is also a sculptor and some of her work can be seen on the Burlington Bike Path, Johnson State College and Pavilion Building State Office Building in Montpelier VT and works for many private collections and galleries. She taught in various colleges and at Vermont Studio Center, directing and instructing in A.R.A. workshops, and school art programs in Vermont over the years. One very important art program that she was instrumental in starting is the art program at Woodbury Elementary School with federal funds from the Rural Schools Development Program, alongside Mrs. Chadwick (school advisor) and Ms. Marylin Hill (principal).
