Looking for a fun and family-friendly running event? Come check out the Saint Francis Xavier Stampede on Saturday, October 11, at 9:00 a.m. Location is 5 St. Peter Street in Winooski and runners may choose a 5K or a 2.5K run through the local neighborhoods. There will also be a children's run of .2 miles around the school. The cost is $10 for runners 14 and older in the 5K or 2.5K, $5 for runners under 14 in the 5K and 2.5K, and the children's .2 mile run is FREE! Each participant in the 5K and 2.5K events will receive a $10 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Sports in Essex Junction.
