Past event
Mar 9, 2024, 9:30 AM to 12 PM

Location: Pratt Refuge, Duxbury, VT

Join other women for a FREE hands-on workshop to learn about and try simple techniques for pruning apple trees. Proper pruning is important to ensure the long-term structural integrity and health of your apple trees. Properly pruned trees are not only stronger but will maximize healthy fruit production. We will cover proper pruning techniques, timing, and how to determine what tool will meet your pruning needs. Bring along your pruning saw, loppers and clippers to practice on some of the wild apples at the Pratt Refuge.
