The First of Three Lectures describing the History, Goals, and Practice of Odd Fellowship in Vermont is offered FREE to all persons on Thursday 21 March at 7 to 8PM, at the Lawrence Memorial Library

TOPIC: The Lodge System: How it works and why it was "Secret" !
Presenter: Alex "Lexie" Kensington, District Deputy Grand Master of Vermont IOOF

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) has been active in the US since 1819 and since 1845 in Vermont. Bristol had a active Lodge here from 1898 to 1963. The resurgence of this Order in Burlington as a agent of In-Person Mutual Support and Community Service, is breaking records since the Pandemic subsided. It is a non-partisan, non-denominational, beneficial society open to women, men, and others, and is LGBTQIA+ inclusive. The only restriction to membership: candidates must be 16 years of age to apply and not be a robot.

This presentation is free and open to all persons!
