Join the Lamoille Valley's Olli audience on Wednesday March 6 at the Stowe Cinema Triplex, 454 Mountain Road for a presentation by Nancy Brown on just this subject. Doors open at 12:30 for a 1-2pm talk. Brown believes that the stories we tell shape the world we see. She argues that our beliefs about the Earth will preserve, or destroy it, illustrated through her encounters with Iceland's Otherworld--on a holy mountain, beside a glacier and an erupting volcano, crossing the cold desert at the island's heart. Brown is an author of nine books about Iceland and the Viking Age. She visits Iceland every summer and winters at a farm in the NEK.
