Keith Murphy at the Adamant Community Club One of Southern Vermont's premier traditional musicians will be at the Adamant Community Club on Sunday, March 10 at 4:00 PM. A native of Newfoundland, Keith Murphy's traditional song repertoire is based in Eastern Canada and Quebec as well as his current home, Brattleboro, Vermont. As a multi-instrumentalist, he is well known for his driving style of guitar playing as well as his mandolin and piano playing and his French Canadian foot percussion. His solo traditional song arrangements are often based on a percussive finger style of guitar playing using multiple open tunings, reminiscent of some of the great English and Irish folk revival players of the 1970s. Admission is $15, free for 12 and under. For information, email vtcrostic@gmail.com or call 802-454-7103.
