The churches in the Barre/Montpelier area are once again holding a CROP Hunger walk. The walk will begin at the Barre Congregational Church with registration at 12:30. The three mile walk will wind around Barre and will focus on the Community Garden, RESOURCE, Capstone Community Action, the churches that hold community breakfasts, and The Good Samaritan Haven. To donate to this walk you can go to WWW.crophungerwalkonline and click on the Montpelier/ Barre Walk. Pick a team or person to donate to. You may also sign up to walk at this site or donate by calling the Barre Congregational Church. 25% of the funds raised will stay in Central Vermont and will help fund the many community breakfasts run by the churches.
