NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

At the Town Offices

Purpose of Meeting: Seek public input in reviewing and updating the Ferrisburgh Town Plan.

Town Plans expire every eight (8) years. The present Ferrisburgh Town Plan was adopted August 15, 2017 and is valid 2019-2025. A town may vote to readopt the Plan with no changes, or make updates (24 VSA 4387).

This informal meeting will be the first of several opportunities for the public to provide input on revisions and updates to the Town Plan for the period 2026-2034. These meetings are held pursuant to 24 VSA 4384 -4385.

AGENDA
1. Open Meeting and introduce coordinators of the review process- Bonnie Barnes and Jean Richardson.
2. Briefly describe procedures established in 24 V.S.A. and rough timeline of public meetings, focus groups and working sessions, prior to formal public hearings.
3. Look at the Town Plan, and the new, updated maps provided by Regional Planning.
4. Listen to input from town committees which have been working on various parts of the Plan and discuss.
5. Set a date for next informal public meeting.
6. Adjourn.

These informal working sessions will be in person. Formal Public Hearings will be held both in person and on Zoom, later in the process.
