Join in on March 09 at 9:00 AM for this month's Curious Calais Nature Walk. We will meet at the Robinson Hill Trails on Robinson Hill road. This location is easy to moderate walking, with slight hills through rooted paths. This walk requires mud boots, warm socks, and gear appropriate for being outside for up to 1.5 hours. Binoculars are encouraged, not required. Rachel Pelham will be hosting this month's walk with a focus on birds and animal tracks. This event is rain or shine.
These walks are hosted monthly at different trails around Calais by different volunteers. The walks are intended to encourage curiosity outdoors. There is no prior knowledge required. We will share what we are noticing, the questions we have, and resources available to try and find an answer.
Hope you will join us!
If you are interested in hosting a walk yourself, please let us know at friendsofclaais2020@gmail.com.
