BRISTOL HARVEST FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER 28TH 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Bristol Harvest Festival. In celebration we are adding several new elements to this year’s lineup.
In addition to a whole new kids area complete with crafts, and games we will he holding the following contests.
BEST EVER APPLE PIE CONTEST - $50.00 cash prize will be awarded to the winner of this contest.
Bake your best apple pie, challenge your friends, organizations, church groups to do the same, bring it to the Bristol Recreation Department’s booth by 10:00 AM. Judging will take place between 11:00 and 11:30 AM. After the winner of the pie contest is announced the remainder of the pies will be sold by the slice with proceeds going to the Bristol Recreation Department for future events.
BEST EVER CHICKEN WINGS CONTEST - $50.00 cash prize will be awarded to the overall winner of this contest.
Do you think you make the best chicken wings EVER? Prove it, cook up a batch (minimum of 36 wings) of your favorite wings, bring them hot and ready to be served to the Bristol Recreation Department’s booth by Noon and let the judging begin. This will be a people’s choice contest. If you are interested in being a Chicken Hawk ("taster"), be sure to get to the Hen House (our booth) early to purchase your wristlet.

PIE EATING CONTEST - Do you love pumpkin pie? Register to participate in the pumpkin pie eating contest. Winner of this contest will be awarded a certificate for a free Bristol Recreation Department class of their choice.
BIGGEST ZUCCHINI CONTEST - Bristolites are proud of their gardens, let’s see who can grow the biggest zucchini in our first ever Biggest Zucchini Contest. Bring your zucchini to the Bristol Recreation Dept.’s booth for weigh in between 10:00 and 10:15 AM.
