The Marshfield Conservation Commission is mounting an effort to protect the trees that the Friends of the Winooski and volunteers have planted. Here is a chance to make a difference before Winter sets in and when the beavers are gathering in fodder for the Winter. We will be wrapping them in cylinders of ¼' hardware cloth and stapling it to the ground to also protect against gnawing rodents.

We will also be trying to eliminate the bindweed that is trying to get established.
