TOWN MEETING
Newfane Town Meeting will take place Tuesday, March 5 at Union Hall on Church Street, beginning at 9 am sharp. The Election of Officers (Article 1) will take place by Australian Ballot from 9 am to 7 pm at the Union Hall.

THE TOWN REPORT
Voters will find the information about the issues they will be asked to decide in the Town Report. The Town Report includes the Warning, listing the 41 articles of business that must be decided, and all the supporting documentation for each monetary request, including the town highway budget, the town office budget, services the town contracts for—and more. Per voters' request, this year the Town Report also includes the applications that organizations submitted for special appropriations.

The Town Report also includes statements from the Selectboard, the DRB, the Planning Commission, other service providers to the town, and vital statistics for 2003.

BE PREPARED
Reading the Town Report before Town Meeting could answer some questions and raise others that voters might have about how we raise and spend tax dollars in Newfane.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Town Meeting is where voters can also hear reports from our delegation to Montpelier. Senators Harrison and Hashim and Representative Long plan to stop by to report on this year's legislative session and answer questions as time allows.

FOOD
Refreshments provided by the NewBrook Parent Teacher Organization will be available by donation.
