Come to the Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area in Addison for the 12th annual Dead Creek Wildlife Day. Hosted by VT Fish and Wildlife, Otter Creek Audubon, and VT Forest Parks and Recreation, this event is great for kids and adults alike!

Come learn about Vermont's white-tailed deer herd from the state deer biologist, take a walk through a clayplain forest with a naturalist, get up close and personal with critters at the bird banding demonstration and a visit from some special live critters of Vermont, meet Rufus the search and rescue dog, try your hand at decoy carving or soap carving, and find out how ducks are captured and banded using rockets! New this year is a game processing and cooking demonstration with deer venison on the menu!

All day activities include bluebird box building, Let's Go Fishing activities, 4H shooting van, laser shooting, and Conte Refuge Eco-Bus. And don't forget to enter the raffles!

Event is free and a lot of fun, so come on down. Rain or shine!
