"I let you in on a secret: Men can do yoga! Although there is still the common misconception that yoga is primarily for woman, or the super flexible, or the spiritual, more and more men recognize the benefits that yoga offers: from physical strength and mobility to mental clarity and stress reduction. Many top athletes practice yoga to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and improve overall physical conditioning. Desk-bound professionals use the mindfulness and meditation aspects of yoga to manage stress, anxiety, and even depression.

Still many men may feel hesitant or self-conscious about stepping onto the mat. It's important to understand that yoga is always a personal journey. It is not competitive, no one is going to judge one's ability or progress. And it is never too late to start a practice.
