Calling all lake and ecology lovers! The Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) is hosting their Winter Love the Lake speaker series--4 FREE public presentations on Lake Champlain's cultural and natural resources.
LCBP Chief Scientist Dr. Matthew Vaughan will give the 3rd lecture of the series on the impacts of the July 2023 storms on Lake Champlain's water quality. He will share insights from water quality monitoring during and after the storm, and provide historical context for this extreme event. This program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the LCBP Office, 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, VT, located just north of the Grand Isle ferry entrance.
